ANOTHER year has passed since I vainly strove to ease the longing of my heart by writing of all that had led up to it.
The world has gone on spinning along its predestined route like some great top humming its way through space, carrying with it that load of mystery and marvel which we call life; spinning and humming just as it has been doing through aeons of time, always with the same speed and the same buzz, while we have opened our eyes and shut them and opened them again and wondered. Two little glimpses at the pulsing and throbbing of a little balance in the machinery of the universe; and we rub our eyes and wonder.
