An older White member of our church named Bob, who was known as a businessman with integrity and a flourishing faith, had been battling brain cancer. He was just about ready to graduate into the presence of Jesus. I sat quietly by this older saint's bed as he mustered enough strength to say, "Pastor, keep teaching the people to obey Jesus. Keep teaching the people to love God and to love their neighbors as they love themselves. Keep giving them gospel, Pastor. Teach the people to make disciples of all people. "
