With European fascism in the background, it became more common for Argentine eugenicists and intellectuals to use the term "white" and advocate the exclusion and marginalization of Jews on explicitly racial grounds in the 1930s–40s.

In this context Nacionalistas judged it impossible for any Jews to claim whiteness, as did their counterparts in Europe. These radical rightists conflated leftism, liberalism, international capitalism, and other manifestations of modernity with Jews. One of their targets was sensuality. Like German National Socialists, Nacionalistas associated Jews with libertine behavior, pornography, and prostitution. Drawing upon age-old notions, both movements saw Jewish men as effeminate or feminized, yet at the same time hypersexual. Being circumcised made Jewish men sexually distinct and "Other"; one could expect any depravity from them. Jewish lust and greed, as manifested in the white slave trade, demonstrated this group's focus on the material and the flesh, rather than on higher spiritual values. Carnal and diseased beings who could degrade the social fabric, Jews epitomized barbarism.
