[Footnote 1: Los Reyes Magos; the day of Epiphany "(Epifanía)" is celebrated the sixth of January and commemorates the visit paid to Christ in Bethlehem by the Three Wise Men, Gaspar, Balthasar, and Melchior. It is a common belief among Spanish children that on the eve of Epiphany the Wise Men come mounted on camels and that they leave presents in the shoes which the children have placed on the balconies.]
