Today is Friday, November 4th. I have indeed slept a dreamless sleep of exhaustion for six hours. But this is no time to dwell on such quotidian things. I must return to my account of the boy. He arrived at my doorstep at 8:30 a.m. the day after I met with Kathryn, the day after Meyer told me to steer clear of Ruhaba. I had to scramble to find the leash to hand to the boy.
