C.E. Van Loan

C.E. Van Loan (1876-1951) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He worked as a reporter for the New York World and the New York Tribune before becoming a freelance writer. He wrote several books, including Tales of the Midnight Club (1922), a collection of short stories. He also wrote several novels, including The House of the Seven Gables (1925) and The Scarlet Letter (1926). He died in 1951 in New York City.
