Charles B. Stilson (1876-1951) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He wrote several books, including Polaris of the Snows (1916), a novel about a young man's adventures in the Arctic. He also wrote several non-fiction books about the Arctic, including The Arctic World (1917) and The Arctic Trail (1919). He was a correspondent for the New York Times and the New York Herald Tribune, and wrote for several other newspapers and magazines. He was a member of the Explorers Club and the Arctic Club of America. He died in 1951 in New York City.
