Uncle Lucky expresses concern about how to explain the situation to the Squirrel Innkeeper. They encounter an old basket maker and buy a new basket, but their second fishing attempt proves fruitless, as they catch nothing but a mosquito bite. The story ends with a promise of more adventures to come, focusing on the misadventures of Billy Bunny and Uncle Lucky.
