Dylan Thomas (1914-1953) was a Welsh poet and writer. He is widely regarded as one of the 20th century's greatest poets and is best known for his poem "Do not go gentle into that good night". His other works include the play Under Milk Wood, the collection of stories A Child's Christmas in Wales, and the poem "And death shall have no dominion". He was also a prolific broadcaster and lecturer, and his work has been adapted for film and television. Thomas was born in Swansea, Wales, and died in New York City at the age of 39.
