Edith B. Davidson was an early twentieth-century American children's author, active roughly from 1911 through the 1920s. She wrote whimsical animal-character stories for young readers, in the tradition of contemporaries such as Thornton Burgess. Her known works include Nibbles Poppelty-Poppett (1911), The Bunnikins-Bunnies and the Moon King, The Bunnikins-Bunnies in Camp, and The Blowing Away of Mr. Bushy Tail, a squirrel's wintertime search for food for his family. These titles circulated as popular children's fiction of the period and are now in the public domain. No birth or death dates, confirmation of nationality, or personal biographical details are publicly documented beyond her bibliography.
