Eric Stenbock (1860–1895) was a British poet, novelist, and short story writer. He was born in London and educated at Eton College. He wrote several volumes of poetry, including The Shadow of Death (1890) and The Poet's Dream (1893). He also wrote several novels, including The Shadow of the Sword (1892) and The House of the Vampire (1895). His short stories were published in magazines such as The Yellow Book and The Savoy. He was a member of the Decadent movement and was associated with the writers of the fin de siècle. He died in 1895 at the age of 35.
