Franz Hartman (1838–1912)

Franz Hartman (1839–1912) was a German author, philosopher, and mystic. He was born in Berlin and studied philosophy and theology at the University of Berlin. He was a member of the Theosophical Society and wrote extensively on theosophy, mysticism, and occultism. He wrote several books, including The Life of Paracelsus and the Substance of His Teachings (1887), The Key to the Universe (1893), and The Science of the Initiates (1897). He also wrote several articles for the Theosophical magazine Lucifer. He died in 1912 in Berlin.
