George Griffith

George Griffith (1857-1906) was an English science fiction writer and journalist. He was born in London and educated at the City of London School. He began his career as a journalist, writing for the Pall Mall Gazette and other newspapers. Griffith is best known for his science fiction novels, which often featured advanced technology and space travel. His most famous works include The Angel of the Revolution (1893), Olga Romanoff (1894), and The Outlaws of the Air (1896). He also wrote several non-fiction works, including The Romance of the Telescope (1894) and The Story of Creation (1898). Griffith was a popular writer in his day, and his works were widely read in both Britain and the United States. He died in 1906 at the age of 49.
