Little Black Mingo is a children's book written by Helen Bannerman and published in 1898. It tells the story of a young African boy named Mingo who lives in the jungle with his family. Eventually, Mingo's family discovers that he has been missing and they come to the cave to find him. Mingo is overjoyed to see them and they all return home together. Mingo continues to explore the jungle and its creatures, but he never forgets the magical parrot and the stories he told him.
