Henry Hasse (1890-1958) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He began his career as a reporter for the New York Evening Post and later worked for the New York Times. Hasse wrote several books, including The Story of the American Revolution (1925), The Story of the Civil War (1927), and The Story of the World War (1930). He also wrote several novels, including The Red House (1926), The White House (1927), and The Black House (1929). Hasse was a member of the Authors League of America and the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He was also a member of the National Institute of Arts and Letters. He died in 1958 in New York City.
