The Boots of Buffalo-Leather

A young man buys a pair of boots from an old cobbler. The boots are made of buffalo leather and have a peculiar smell. As he wears them, the boots begin to change shape, becoming more worn and tattered. Eventually, they fall apart completely, revealing that they were actually a pair of human feet.
