Heart's Ease is a story of love, loss, and redemption set in the small town of Heart's Ease, Pennsylvania. The story follows the lives of two young women, Sarah and Rachel, who have been best friends since childhood. Sarah is a free-spirited artist who dreams of a life beyond the confines of Heart's Ease, while Rachel is a practical and responsible young woman who is content to stay in the town she loves. When Sarah's father dies suddenly, she is left with no choice but to stay in Heart's Ease and take care of her family. Rachel is determined to help Sarah find her way, but Sarah's grief and her own feelings for Sarah threaten to tear them apart. As Sarah and Rachel struggle to find their way, they must confront their own fears and insecurities, as well as the secrets of Heart's Ease. In the end, they must decide if their friendship is strong enough to survive the challenges they face.
