John Trevena was a British author and journalist who wrote several books in the early 20th century. He was born in 1877 in London, England, and was educated at the University of Oxford. He worked as a journalist for the Daily Mail and the Daily Express, and wrote several books, including By Violence (1918), The Great Adventure (1919), and The Secret of the Sea (1920). He also wrote several plays, including The White Rose (1919) and The Scarlet Pimpernel (1920). He died in London in 1945.
