The Star-Sent Knaves is a science fiction novel by Keith Laumer. It is set in a future where humanity has colonized the stars, and the universe is divided into two factions: the Expansionists, who seek to expand their influence and power, and the Isolationists, who seek to remain isolated from the rest of the universe. The story follows two men, John and David, who are sent on a mission to a distant star system to investigate a mysterious signal.
