This story features two main characters: a lion who fears everything and a tiger with an insatiable hunger for food. They meet a Scarecrow and a Tin Woodman, who are on their way to the Emerald City to see the Wizard. The Cowardly Lion joins them, but his fear of being eaten by the Hungry Tiger causes him to leave.
