The Journey to the Tin Woodman

A young girl from Kansas is swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. She lands on the Wicked Witch of the East and kills her, freeing the Munchkins from her rule. The Good Witch of the North rewards her with the Silver Shoes that killed the witch. The girl meets a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a Tin Woodman who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. They join forces to protect the girl on her journey down the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City where they hope to meet the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, they encounter obstacles including flying monkeys, the Wicked Witch of the West, and treacherous terrain. The group faces challenges that test their resolve and force them to confront their own weaknesses. The girl's house lands on top of a witch, killing her, and she is given magic shoes by the Good Witch of the North. She meets three friends who join her on a journey down the Yellow Brick Road to meet the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City. The group faces many challenges as they travel through the forest, including encounters with flying monkeys and the Wicked Witch of the West. The Scarecrow wants a brain, the Tin Woodman wants a heart, and the Cowardly Lion wants courage. They eventually reach the Emerald City where they meet the Wizard of Oz who appears to be powerful but is actually a humbug. He sends them on a series of tests to prove their worth, but ultimately helps them realize that they already possess what they were seeking: the Scarecrow has common sense, the Tin Woodman has a heart, and the Cowardly Lion has courage. The girl's house lands on top of the Wicked Witch of the West, killing her. The Good Witch of the North rewards the girl with magic shoes that allow her to return home.
