The Three Little Pigs
The Three Little Pigs is a classic children’s story about three pigs who build three houses of different materials. The first pig builds a house of straw, the second pig builds a house of sticks, and the third pig builds a house of bricks. The story follows the three pigs as they are visited by a wolf who tries to blow down their houses. The wolf is unsuccessful in blowing down the brick house, but he succeeds in blowing down the houses of straw and sticks. The three little pigs escape to the brick house and the wolf is unable to get in. The story ends with the three little pigs living happily ever after in their brick house. The moral of the story is that hard work and preparation can help you succeed in life.

Once upon a time there was an old Sow with three little Pigs, and as she had not enough to keep them, she sent them out to seek their fortune.
The first that went off met a Man with a bundle of straw, and said to him, "Please, Man, give me that straw to build me a house"; which the Man did, and the little Pig built a house with it. Presently came along a Wolf, and knocked at the door, and said, "Little Pig, little Pig, let me come in."
