Moses was an important figure in the Bible, and is traditionally regarded as the author of the first five books of the Bible, known as the Pentateuch. He is also credited with writing the book of Deuteronomy. Moses was born in Egypt, and was adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. He was raised in the court of Pharaoh, and was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. When he was forty years old, he had a vision from God, and was called to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses led the Israelites through the wilderness for forty years, and during this time he received the Ten Commandments from God on Mount Sinai. He also wrote the first five books of the Bible, which are known as the Pentateuch. Moses died at the age of 120, and was buried by God in an unknown location. He is remembered as a great leader and prophet, and is an important figure in both Judaism and Christianity.
