A poor laborer and his wife, longing for a child, pray at a holy shrine. Their wish is granted, but instead of a human daughter, they receive a frog. Despite their love for her, they hide her from neighbors due to shame. The frog girl grows up isolated, playing in her father's vineyard. As her mother ages, the frog offers to carry her father's lunch, and while delivering it, she sings beautifully, earning the nickname "Little Singing Frog." One day, the Tsar's Youngest Son hears her singing and is enchanted. He insists on marrying her, despite her appearance. The laborer reluctantly reveals her identity, and the Prince declares his love. The frog girl agrees to marry him but requests a snow-white cock to ride to the palace. She prays to the Sun for a beautiful gown, which she receives, transforming her appearance. At the palace, guards initially refuse her entry, but upon learning she is the Prince's bride, they allow her in. When she reveals her gown, she transforms into a beautiful maiden, outshining the other brides. The Tsar is captivated by her and chooses her as the bride for his son, recognizing her worth beyond her initial appearance. The frog girl becomes Tsarina, fulfilling her destiny and overcoming her parents' shame.
