Conan - The Devil in Iron
Conan the Cimmerian is a barbarian warrior who is summoned to the city of Zamboula by a mysterious figure. He is tasked with finding and destroying a powerful creature that has been terrorizing the city. Conan soon discovers that the creature is a giant iron statue of a demon, brought to life by a powerful sorcerer. The sorcerer has been using the statue to terrorize the city and its inhabitants, and Conan must find a way to stop him. Conan must battle his way through the city, facing off against monsters, demons, and the sorcerer's minions. Along the way, he discovers the secrets of the sorcerer's power and learns of a powerful artifact that could help him defeat the demon. In the end, Conan must face off against the sorcerer and the demon in a final battle that will decide the fate of Zamboula.

The fisherman loosened his knife in its scabbard. The gesture was instinctive, for what he feared was nothing a knife could slay, not even the saw-edged crescent blade of the Yuetshi that could disembowel a man with an upward stroke. Neither man nor beast threatened him in the solitude which brooded over the castellated isle of Xapur.
He had climbed the cliffs, passed through the jungle that bordered them, and now stood surrounded by evidences of a vanished state. Broken columns glimmered among the trees, the straggling lines of crumbling walls meandered off into the shadows, and under his feet were broad paves, cracked and bowed by roots growing beneath.
