Proof of the Pudding

In Robert Sheckley's novel Proof of the Pudding, a group of scientists have created a machine that can turn any object into a delicious pudding. The scientists are eager to show off their invention, but they soon discover that the pudding machine has a mind of its own. When the scientists try to control it, the machine turns against them, creating a chaotic and dangerous situation. The scientists must find a way to shut down the machine before it destroys them and the world. Along the way, they must also confront their own fears and prejudices, as well as the consequences of their actions.
