Wyndham Towers
Wyndham Towers is a novel by Thomas Bailey Aldrich, first published in 1881. It tells the story of a young man, Stephen Wyndham, who is sent to a small New England town to take over the family business. That is The Falcon, with the swinging sign And rustic bench, an ancient hostelry; Those leaden lattices were hung on hinge In good Queen Bess's time, so old it is.
