The Fisher is a novel by Thomas James Wise about a young man named John Fisher who is struggling to make his way in the world. He is a fisherman by trade, but his dreams of a better life lead him to take a job as a deckhand on a merchant ship. John soon finds himself in the middle of a dangerous adventure, as the ship is attacked by pirates and he is forced to fight for his life.
