Wanted, a Young Lady
"Wanted, a Young Lady" is a farce in one act by William E. Suter. The play follows the story of a young man, Tom, who is desperately searching for a young lady to marry. He has been rejected by several women and is now desperate to find someone to marry. He advertises for a young lady in the newspaper and is soon inundated with responses. He meets with several of the women, but none of them seem to be the right fit. Finally, he meets a young woman who seems to be perfect for him. However, it turns out that she is actually his long-lost sister, who had been adopted by another family. In the end, Tom and his sister are reunited and the play ends happily.
