Zephaniah by Zephaniah (-1900)

Zephaniah is the ninth book of the Minor Prophets in the Hebrew Bible. It is attributed to the prophet Zephaniah, and is believed to have been written in the late 7th century BC. The book is divided into three sections. The first section (1:1-2:3) is a warning of judgment against Judah and Jerusalem for their idolatry and other sins. The second section (2:4-15) is a call to repentance and a promise of restoration for those who turn to God. The third section (3:1-20) is a vision of the future glory of Jerusalem and the nations who turn to God. The book ends with a call to praise God for his mercy and justice.
