"I'll bet the doctor knew, but he wouldn't squeak. Here!" He detained Mason. "Is it true that they got the doctor?.Somebody'll be murdered if they touch him! Everybody in Gallows Court will go and find the man and bring him in here and put him down into a cellar, and put clay in his mouth and tear little bits off him till he dies!"
