When they arrived in Bethlehem, Ruth worked hard to provide for them both. She gleaned in the fields of Boaz, a relative of Naomi's. Boaz was so impressed with Ruth's hard work and loyalty to Naomi that he married her. Ruth and Boaz had a son named Obed, who was the grandfather of King David. This story teaches us about loyalty, faithfulness, and the importance of family. It also shows us how God can use our circumstances to bring about good things.

A long time ago, in the days of the judges of Israel, there was a famine in the land of Canaan, and a man named Elimelech, whose home was in Bethlehem, went with his wife Naomi and his two sons to live in Moab.
