Ruth and Naomi is a Wee Ones Bible Story about two women who were very close. Ruth was a Moabite woman who married Naomi's son. When her husband and sons died, Naomi decided to return to her homeland of Bethlehem. Ruth chose to go with her and promised to stay with her and never leave her. When they arrived in Bethlehem, Ruth worked hard to provide for them both. She gleaned in the fields of Boaz, a relative of Naomi's. Boaz was so impressed with Ruth's hard work and loyalty to Naomi that he married her. Ruth and Boaz had a son named Obed, who was the grandfather of King David. This story teaches us about loyalty, faithfulness, and the importance of family. It also shows us how God can use our circumstances to bring about good things.
