Tom Kitten is a mischievous young kitten who lives with his mother, Mrs. Tabitha Twitchit, and his siblings, Moppet and Mittens. One day, Mrs. Twitchit decides to dress the kittens up in their best clothes for a tea party. Tom, however, is more interested in exploring the garden than in getting dressed. He soon finds himself in a sticky situation when he gets caught in a raspberry jam jar. After a few close calls, Tom is eventually rescued by his mother and siblings. The kittens then enjoy a fun tea party with their mother and some of their animal friends. In the end, Tom learns an important lesson about being careful and following instructions.
