ROMEO AND JULIET, by Charles Lamb: A tragic tale of star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, from feuding families in Verona. Juliet fakes her own death to avoid marrying another man, but Romeo does not learn of her plan and poisons himself in her tomb. When Juliet awakens to find Romeo dead, she stabs herself with his dagger and joins him in death.
