The story revolves around a man who is extremely sentimental and emotional. He falls deeply in love with a woman but she does not reciprocate his feelings. Despite this, he continues to pine for her and remains devoted to her even after she marries another man. His excessive sentimentality leads him to make foolish decisions that ultimately lead to his downfall.
