A Moment of Madness

The story revolves around Roland Tresham, a man burdened by financial struggles and a large family. He visits his wealthy sister, Mrs. Carnaby-Hicks, seeking assistance, but she offers little help. Roland's marriage to Juliet, once filled with love, has deteriorated due to poverty and stress.
