Florence Marryat
Florence Marryat (1833–1899) was a British author, actress, and singer. She was the daughter of Captain Frederick Marryat, a well-known novelist. Marryat wrote over 70 novels, often exploring themes of spiritualism and the supernatural. She also worked as an editor for "London Society" magazine and wrote plays and non-fiction works. Her notable novels include "Love's Conflict" and "The Blood of the Vampire." Marryat was also known for her involvement in spiritualist circles and her public lectures on the subject.
