Song. from the Russian of Pushkin

The song tells the story of a young man who falls in love with a beautiful girl and sings about his feelings for her. The girl's father disapproves of their relationship, but they continue to meet secretly. Eventually, the father discovers their affair and forbids them from seeing each other again. The young man is heartbroken and vows never to love another woman as he did this one.
