Around the World in Eighty Days

Phileas Fogg is a wealthy and enigmatic member of the Reform Club. His daily habits are precise and predictable, with a focus on reading the papers and playing whist. He has no known family or friends and lives alone in his mansion in Saville Row. A new servant, Jean Passepartout, is hired to replace James Forster, who was dismissed for being four minutes late. Passepartout's past experience includes various trades such as singing, circus-riding, and firefighting. He hopes to live a tranquil life with Mr. Fogg.
