The Haunter of the Ring is a horror novella by Robert E. Howard, first published in the October 1932 issue of Weird Tales magazine. The story follows the adventures of a young man named John Kirowan, who is on a quest to find a mysterious ring that is said to be cursed. He is warned by a mysterious old man that the ring is guarded by a powerful and evil spirit, and that anyone who wears it will be cursed with a horrible fate. John is determined to find the ring and prove the old man wrong, but soon finds himself in a desperate battle against the supernatural forces that guard it. He must use all of his courage and strength to survive the ordeal and ultimately discover the truth behind the mysterious ring.
