A Place in the Sun is a novel by Stephen Marlowe, first published in 1956. It tells the story of a young man, Chester Drum, who is hired by a wealthy industrialist to investigate the death of his son. Drum soon finds himself in the middle of a complex web of intrigue and murder, as he discovers that the industrialist's son was involved in a shady business deal. As Drum digs deeper, he finds himself in danger from both the police and the criminals involved in the case. With the help of a beautiful woman, Drum must unravel the mystery and find a way to survive.
