Angus is a young man living in the Scottish Highlands in the early 1900s. He is a talented musician, but his family is poor and he is unable to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional musician. When his father dies, Angus is left to fend for himself and his family. He takes a job as a shepherd, but his heart is still set on music. One day, Angus meets a mysterious stranger who offers him a chance to make his dreams come true. Angus agrees and sets off on a journey to learn the tune. Along the way, he meets a variety of characters, including a wise old man, a beautiful girl, and a mysterious creature.
