Wardon Allan Curtis (1854-1922) was an American author, journalist, and editor. He was born in New York City and educated at Columbia University. He began his career as a journalist, writing for the New York Tribune and the New York Times. He later became an editor at the New York World and the New York Herald. Curtis wrote several books, including The Life of Abraham Lincoln (1890), The Life of Ulysses S. Grant (1891), and The Life of William McKinley (1901). He also wrote several novels, including The White Squaw (1890) and The Red Man's Revenge (1893). He was a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the National Institute of Arts and Letters.
