Agamemnon by Aeschylus (458)
The play revolves around the return of Agamemnon to Mycenae after the Trojan War. His wife Clytemnestra has taken a lover, Aegisthus, and they conspire against him. Upon his arrival, Agamemnon is killed by Clytemnestra and Aegisthus. The play then shifts to Orestes, Agamemnon's son, who seeks revenge for his father's death.
