They decide to leave the temple and return home, but as they are walking away, they hear a voice calling out to them from within the temple. It is the Lord's voice, telling them that he has been watching over them all along and will continue to do so for as long as they need him. The boys are comforted by this and decide to return home with renewed hope and faith in their future.
