The Chinese Parrot
The Chinese Parrot is a 1926 mystery novel by American author Earl Derr Biggers. It is the second novel in the Charlie Chan series.
The novel follows the adventures of Charlie Chan, a Chinese-American detective working for the Honolulu Police Department. When a wealthy businessman is murdered in his Honolulu home, Chan is called in to investigate. He soon discovers that the victim had recently purchased a valuable Chinese parrot, and that the bird may hold the key to the mystery. As Chan delves deeper into the case, he finds himself in a web of deceit and danger, and must use all of his wits to solve the crime.
