Behind That Curtain

Charlie Chan, a Chinese-American detective, is called to San Francisco to investigate the murder of a wealthy man. He discovers that the man was killed by a mysterious figure known as "The Grey Phantom," who is believed to be a Chinese criminal mastermind. Charlie Chan follows a trail of clues that leads him to a Chinese theater, where he discovers that the Grey Phantom is actually a woman. He also discovers that the woman is connected to a powerful Chinese family, and that she is trying to gain control of the family's fortune. Charlie Chan must use all of his detective skills to unravel the mystery and bring the Grey Phantom to justice. Along the way, he must confront dangerous criminals, uncover secrets, and battle his own inner demons. In the end, Charlie Chan must face the Grey Phantom in a thrilling showdown.
