Edgar Wallace

Edgar Wallace (1875-1932) was an English crime writer, journalist, and playwright. He is best known for his crime novels and short stories, which were adapted into films and television series. He wrote over 170 novels, 24 plays, and countless short stories. He was one of the most popular authors of his time, and his works have been translated into 28 languages. He was also a prolific screenwriter, contributing to over 40 films. He was a major influence on the development of the modern crime genre.
