The story revolves around a chicken named Chanticleer who rules the farmyard with an iron wing. He is proud of his ancestry and believes he is descended from noble blood. One day, he discovers that he is not the only rooster on the farm and that there are other birds who can crow just as loudly as him. This realization sparks a revolt among the hens, who begin to question Chanticleer's authority.
