The Absent-Minded Botanist

His most significant misadventure occurs when a baboon steals his precious herbarium. Reed's attempt to retrieve it leads to a physical struggle with the baboon, which ends when a hunter kills the animal. Despite these incidents, Reed successfully returns to Cape Town with his herbarium, eager to share his botanical discoveries.
